A752, a male Caspian tern, was banded and fitted with a satellite tag on 30 March, 2015 at Crescent Island. He was observed about 500 km south on a tern colony at Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, CA in June, 2015 with a mate and an active nest. That nesting attempt failed, however, and he returned to the Columbia Plateau after visiting the Columbia River estuary.
During the 2016 breeding season, A752 consistently resided in the vicinity of the Blalock Islands on the Columbia Plateau. On 17 June, he was observed attending an active nest there.
