Because insects are <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scienceabc.com\/nature\/animals\/how-do-insects-stay-warm.html\" target=\"_blank\">poikilotherms<\/a>, their development is directly related to temperature. Some insects are also reliant on adequate moisture. The percentage of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/cutworm\/2019\/05\/13\/pests-and-precip\/\">armyworm eggs<\/a> that hatch, for example.
