RNG 421: Wildland Restoration & Ecology (4 Credits)

Emphasis is placed on understanding the ecology and restoration of western North American ecosystems. Restoration, management and rangeland improvement practices for stabilizing and repairing degraded wildlands are discussed. This involves manipulating plants, soil, animals and micro-environments for improved ecosystem function. 

Prerequisites: Course work in soils and ecology
